I have a subscription based product (free trial) that I'd like to limit one to each customer... anyone have any idea how I can do that in my online or product settings?  Is this an ability DNN has?  If it doesn't, anyone have any ideas on how I can lock this down?

Thanks!
Jessica

This depends on what a "free trial" is, what the product is, and what you consider a customer to be.

Licensing/software protection is an area that is incredibly complex!

We have a subscription based service that allows our members to view a library of streaming videos.  The product is a library of videos - and we have membership subscriptions of 1,3,6 & 12 months reoccuring.  In order to give potential subscribers a chance to preview we have been giving them a free trial (one week access to the library) but as of right now, after this free week is up, they can go back into the store and purchase that same free week again.  Our customer base is limited to one user per email address so we did get that locked down... but now anyone who signs up as a user can continue to buy again and again.  I hope I answered your question correctly.  Thank you. Jess
