Is there any way to add an image to a specific folder instead of root?

You can chose every folder you have write permissions for.

I created a folder and uncheck read-only attribute in property. It still not shows up in file location in edit user defined table . Any idea?

You need to use the DNN Filemanager. the permissions I was talking of is "Write to folder"

DNN 4.5.x

Files (File Manager) > Folders

Select an existing folder where you'd like to have UDT store images by users of a certain Role(s);

- or -

Add Folder, to create a new folder;

At the bottom of the File Manager page, with your chosen folder selected, enable Folder Security Settings Permissions for View/Write for the Role(s) who will use UDT and should have the ability to Upload.


If a problem can be solved, there's no use worrying about it.
If it can't be solved, worrying will do no good.
