Hi.

I try to install a test version locally, but after I have created a new Web application and the config wizards starts, it stops and hangs under the "Run database installation scripts". Why is this happening? I have tried with bot SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2005 Express. It just creates one database table called Version. Then noting else happens.

I'm having the same problem. I see a few stored procedures added but the database installation scripts have been running for 45 min + now.

The same thing happens to me.  Also my images seem to be missing.  If I navigate to http://localhost:3780/DotNetNuke_o4.06.02_Install/Install.logo.gif, I get:

DotNetNuke Error: - Version 04.06.02

The stored procedure 'dbo.GetPortalAliasByPortalID' doesn't exist.

This does not happen when I run it from  IIS.  Has anyone ever successfully run it from the built-in webserver in vs2005?

I had the same problem, until I simply decided to run the website on auto instead of typical, if i would chosen typical it would of taken me through the new

installation process which is not bad actually is great only if i could use it correctly, however once u choose auto its just going to land through the regular legacy procedure

I have this problem to and it´s very annoying that i dont know what causes it. I´m trying to install 4.6.2 locally as a test before i will go live with the site. Im connecting to my sql server 2005 locally and the connection between the application and database is working.

If anyone has a solution for this...please share it with us!
