Hello everybody,

I've a question: how can I change the username of the host account?

If I go in Host -> Host Accounts I'm only able to change the password, not the user.

Have I to create a new host account?

create a new superuser account and assign it in host settings.

On DNN 4.5.5 I only see Host Accounts now instead of Superuser accounts. I assume this is the same thing,

When I am on Host Accounts and look at the menu, it says Add New User. Is this adding a new SuperUser / Host Account?

Can I add Host privileges to an existing account?

I don't see any way to assign an existing account host privileges or to even swap the existing host account to another one in the Host Settings as you mentioned above.

Thanks.

Yes, it's the same thing.

If you want to grant host privileges to an existing user it's easiest to do so directly in the database: In the table "Users" set the value for "IsSuperuser" to "True".

(or do it via a SQL script under Host > SQL).
