I am upgrading a 3.3 to 4.6 and I am getting an error.  I successfully upgraded from 3.3 to 4.5 as a test but need to upgrade 3.3 to 4.6 now.  Here are the errors:

[ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: type]
   System.Activator.CreateInstance(Type type, Boolean nonPublic) +2768503
   DotNetNuke.Framework.Reflection.CreateObject(String ObjectProviderType, String ObjectProviderName, String ObjectNamespace, String ObjectAssemblyName, Boolean UseCache) +582
   DotNetNuke.Data.DataProvider.CreateProvider() +47
   DotNetNuke.Data.DataProvider..cctor() +13

[TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'DotNetNuke.Data.DataProvider' threw an exception.]
   DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.GetUpgradeStatus() +67
   DotNetNuke.Common.Global.CheckVersion() +132
   DotNetNuke.Common.Global.Application_Start(Object Sender, EventArgs E) +477

If you can roll back to the 4.5 install and bypass 4.6 altogether and go straight to 4.6.2, I would do it and see if you get past the errors.

Great idea.  I tried it but no love.  I thought for sure that would work.

I think I will stick with 4.5 for now.

Thanks
