Steve,

I have read the templates guide and have modified one of the existing templated to suite my needs.  I renamed the folder and FTP'ed the folder back to the templates folder on my site.  It has a new name and I am sure that it is in the right place but when I go to choose it from the dropdown list it is not there.  How do I make it show up in the list?  According to the repository user guide all I should have to due is upload it to the templates folder? Can you help please, I am sure that I am just missing something.  Thanks in advance

Doug

Try synching your files recursively under Admin->File Manager.

I too want to create a new repository skin.

I have copied the "nifty" skin into a new folder to 'practice' on ;o) .....

I want to add some new fields to:

a) the displayed entry

b) the Upload form.

The fields I want to add are:

a) email (already exists as the authors email)

b) website (a url, containing the authors website)

c) telephone number

d) fax number

etc. etc.

How do I go about adding these new fields to the repository item ??

TIA.

Dave

You cannot add new fields in the current version. Templating only allows you to modify the way the existing data is displayed.'

You will be able to add custom fields in the next version (4.0.0), there are many threads and blog posts about 4.0.0 if you want more information.
