My database is getting bigger and bigger day by day and I want to turcate the sitelog and eventlog. How do I do it? Is there any reason I should not do it? Thanks for your time!

From Host>SQL run:

truncate table eventlog

truncate table sitelog

To better manage this issue, when you backup your DB (which I hope is reguarly), be sure to truncate the log file in the process.

The temporary fix:

Cleaning out the ScheduleHistory table fixes the problem until it gets too full again...

Delete From ScheduleHistory where ScheduleHistoryID > 1

AFAIR there is a cleanup routine for the schedulerHistory as well, that you might need to adopt to suit your needs.

Besides also make sure, to truncate the transaction log of your database frequently, as this increases size and decreases performance as well.
