Hopefully this is not too tedious..

I'm currently using the UDT to store employee phone numbers. There is the simple as well as a more advance searching for the columns but I need to bind a column (e.g. department) to a dropdownlist. I will need the populated dropdownlist to be somewhere on top of the UDT to act as a filter. Thus users do not have to guess what are departments to search or whether are the dept abbreviated or not.

Can this be done? Where do I start?

Really appreciate if anyone could give me a few pointers, no coding required, just things like: 1. Look for the table named xxx after you created in UDT module, 2. create SP to get the columns, 3. place a dropdownlist in xxx.ascx, 4...
