Hi,

When displaying an Event all my dates are UK-gb except the created by shown below:

Created by  SuperUser Account  on  10/17/2007

I would like this to show like this:

Created by  SuperUser Account  on  17/10/2007

Please advise

Julian

Hi Julian,

did you manage to fix this?

I too would like to show the dates in UK (normal) format as opposed to U.S. format.

I'm sure there must be a way to do this and sure it has been answered before, but I'm unable to find anything searching the forum (either getting an error in my search or zero results).

regards,

mark richardson

Hi Mark,

you need to find the template.xml file for the template that you are using and change the values for DateFormat wrt UPDATEDDATE and CREATEDDATE, here's a snippet from mine:

<object>
    <token>[CREATEDDATE]</token>
    <settings>
        <setting>
            <name>DateFormat</name>
            <value>ddd dd/MM/yyyy @ hh:mm</value>
        </setting>
    </settings>
</object>
<object>
    <token>[UPDATEDDATE]</token>
    <settings>
        <setting>
            <name>DateFormat</name>
            <value>ddd dd/MM/yyyy @ hh:mm</value>
        </setting>
    </settings>
</object>

You may wish to copy the template and rename the one you are using so that it doesn't get overwritten if you upgrade the module

Aaarrgghhh!

That's for the repository module.  Didn't read properly

Barry,

please be aware, that the repository setting shown above does not adjust to user formats in multilingual web sites. IN this case, standard formats should be used.

Thanks,

found it, works a treat!

( p.s. works better with months in MM format, uppercase, otherwise get strange results - like a 33rd month in the year!  )
