Hi there

 

I am currently trying to install DNN on discountasp and have followed the instructions to the t which can be found here - http://kb.discountasp.net/article.aspx?id=10382

I then hit the last step to go to http://www.mydomain.com/mysub directory and i get the following error message -

Server Error in '/dnn/Install' Application.

Configuration Error

Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke.HttpModules' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. (E:\web\motosmartzo\htdocs\dnn\web.config line 57)

Source File: E:\web\motosmartzo\htdocs\dnn\web.config    Line: 57I really reaaly want to get this configured and setup as quickly as possible as have a ton of work that i need to do and want to use DNN to accomplish it...

 

Any assistance or advice would be most gratefully appreciated..

Please advise what i need to do or what i have done wrong..

OK, So i got past this issue  and now am getting the following -

 

DotNetNuke Error: - Version 04.06.02

An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

 

 

Any help on this one would be awesome..
