Hi,

My password reminders are not being sent. (When you click on fogot password link)

I looked at my site logs, and this is the only info I get

IP: xxxxxxxxxxx
Cause: Password could not be sent at this moment. Please try again later or contact the site administrator.
Server Name: CHANGEPORTAL

Does anyone have any ideas?

this is quite important, as I registered 9 000 users with auto generated passwords, and they have to be able to retrieve their passwords when accessing the site.

Alternatively, does anyone know of a way i can deliver passwords to my users?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Julian,

Have you set your SMTP settings correctly? (Under Host > Host Settings > Advanced Settings)

Hi,

Yes I did, I suppose I should have mentioned that. New user registration e-mails are being sent, and I get a success message when testing SMTP settings, so it's definately not that.

Could it be because I moved the portal from child to root?

Any ideas
