Didn't really know where else to ask this question -

I started running AdSense on my site today and i noticed very quickly that a lot of my pages are picking up "DotNetNuke" stuff somewhere even though my site has nothing to do with it.

Can anyone point my in the right direction on how and where that type of technology might be picking up references in my pages to DotNetNuke considering the content is about something entirely different - many thanks for any advice...

Go to Host > Host Settings and turn off the Show Copyrights checkbox.

You are getting DNN related AdSense because DotnetNuke adds those keywords to your metadata.

Thanks John.  I figured it must be something like that - I enchecked the box and the pages I had not tested seem to be displaying ads that are relevant - although the ones I had looked at before are still showing DNN stuff.  Are you an adsense user?  Do I need to kill those instances and republish them?  Or will adsense figure it out eventually?

Thanks again for the timely response....

Give it a couple of more days for adsense to spider your site so  you should get more relevant ads.

I've been trying to get adsense/adbrite to appear in my banner rotation with zero luck. I paste the code into the text/script area from the Host>Vendors after creating a new vendor. I can get direct image/link ads to run fine, but it doesnt show the scripts for adsense/adbrite.

Anyone else have issues with this??
