We have another issue with spacer images that only appear on XHTML compliant skin. Please see image below:

Forum Image

A css class Forum_SpacerRow is applied thorugh visual basic where some of the spacer images are used. So only solution we have right now is manually removing these images from the visual basic.

Same spacer images disappear if i apply default DNN Blue/Gray skins on the page.

Any possible easier solution??

The color in your Forum did not come from the default Theme. Only the images are be used, and that ist then not the default theme.   Or other if the Portak-Skin or Containers are brocken this-

The DNN Forum 4.4.3 only is delivered with the Theme named "Default" , it do not delete the old Forum 3.x Themes.  But the Themes of the Forum 3.x need some changes, if you will use it in 4.4.3!
