Ditto on 3essentials. Their support is fantastic and they have really fixed some bonehead moves on my part.

If you decide to go with them, could you throw a dog a bone and use my reference?

Definitely some great suggestions here and I appreciate it very much.  I agree with Vollerworld that everybody holds their own opinions which is why something like the DNN community is so great.  By getting opinions from everybody out there and seeing the different options available, it enables one to make the most educated decision.

So far, from what I've seen, 3Essentials definitely is looking to sway my decision.  I think I'll even go as far as hosting my own site(s) there (pull them off my home server) and using the B10 or B20 option looks great.

Any other opinions from people out there greatly appreciated.

Thanks again!

Fooberichu,

Excellent.  Use the link in my first post to sign up, as it does earn me 1 month free.

Or submit a ticket if you've already signed up, and just let support know that Chad Voller referred you.

Enjoy!

Crystaltech has always been great.  I am also using easyCGI who has been great as well.  The easy CGI is cheaper.

I have tried a few and here is my 2 cents:

www.webhost4life.com - Support understands DNN, control panel is decent and large MS DB (2,000mb). Some people say there are uptime issues,  but I have not had any such problems.

www.1and1.com - Support does not understand DNN, but it is cheap and tons of space and transfer. The control panel is the best I have seen so far. Installing here my be a challenge, I have heard some people have been successful, but support will not help you.

Hope that helps,

Sean
