Hi

We have built a site in dotnetnuke. The site is really come out well and now being used by many people.

Now we are asked to come up with the reports from our site, wherein we have to collect the details of the users logging in, the pages they are visiting, how long they are in that particular page. Is there a way to get such types of logs? Is DNN logging all these details?

Please let me know if anyone of you are aware of these features in dotnetnuke. We need to come up with these reports as soon as possible. Please help me.

If we dont support this feature please let me know and give me some other option to get all these details.

Thanks

Jyotsna

are basic reports in Admin :: Sitelog, if you need more enhanced, switch logging from database to filesystem in host settings and use a 3rd party tool like SmarterStats to analyse the log files.

Sign in as host and go to Admin, Site Settings, Advanced Settings, Other Settings, Site log history (DNNcorp needs a new information architect) - put a number of days in the field and wait.

Also.. check Snowcovered or the DNN marketplace for stats modules.... there are a few. ZLDNN has also just released a handy one for free.. check recent posts in this same forum for Super Site report.

As rob mentioned you can enable the stie log in host settings.

I personally recommend using an external or third party tool to monitor site activity.  I personally use Google Analytics, it is free and meets my needs...
