I am running DNN 4.5.5 and SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition on my local machine for development. My user config is role based. I want my users to be able to add module content (access the edit page), but not change module or page settings. So I set my page settings for view for roles 1, 2, and 3 then set the edit permissions in the  module settings for roles 1, 2, and 3 and I am inheriting the view settings from the page. None of these users are administrators. Users belonging to roles 1, 2, and 3 should have the add content button but not the page administrator div at the top of the page (as intended). Unfortunately, the users do not have the add content button unless I make them page editors and take them out of design view.

Since, my users do not get the admin div at the top of the page, the whole design/ view/ edit deal should be out of the picture... Or, so it would seem.

What (if anything) am I doing wrong? Is this a bug?

Cheers!

Cheers!
