The logout issue is with not being able to logout of the live.com site and not your own site, I personally just unchecked the box and am dealing with it.

As for the profile page, I have noticed that it is a bit slower, and I have a feeling that it is due to it checking with windows live for your information (but I am not 100% sure on this one)

I wonder if other sites log out of Live, or if it is a DNN issue (perhaps the DNN sites are not sending it the correct instruction or something. It's a big security flaw - anyone who uses my PC can now log in as Admin just by clicking Login.

With regards to speed - I wonder if any of the developers of this feature could comment on what is happening behind the scenes and how aften/when it checks the Live site for info?

Rodney,

I don't think the issue of not being able to log out is a DNN only issue.  I can't actually log out of Live.com when I visit the Microsoft Certified Professional website, and that is a Microsoft site...

For your admin account protection I would juat make sure that you always go to live.com and force the logout from there.

Hi,

I'm having the same issue... If I have persistan login to Live, then I can't logout of DNN - first time the page shows as if I'm logged out, but when I refresh page or go to another section I'm instantly logged back in. It's a pain because I switch from my user account to my host account... (and I don't think this is related to the skin)

I've been experimenting a bit and ran across an interesting situation: - I'm logged in on DNN site and on My site... when I log out of My site I also check the "Sign out of Live"... I get this result:

  https://home.tejc.com/tungs/Home/tabid/36/ctl/Login/Default.aspx

  https://www.dotnetnuke.com/Home/SecureLogin/tabid/1102/Default.aspx

I have "persistant" login on Live now disabled - but it's really not a good work around ... any better ideas?

Well, the issue is now gone (and I did nothing in particular). DNN keeps me logged out properly and logging off Live works fine too...

Problems with logging out of live could be because the application was being registered with LiveID just recently...
