Hello all,

I've seen on this website that mod_aspdotnet exists for Apache (for ASP.NET 2 and Apache 2.2).

I found it, compiled and installed with no error. My DNN's portal runs fine for the home page. But when I click on any links, an error 404 is returned.

Who can help me to configure mod_aspdotnet to run DNN successfully ?

Many thanks

I am not sure how to actually configure it, but i can tell you that you need to look for a setting that is "validate page exists" or something of that nature.  DNN uses friendly URL's which allow you to build links that have a "folder" structure that doesn't exist and I am sure that on your PC it is just trying to find the respective file rather than letting DNN handle it.

Thanks for the reply.

The mod_aspdotnet's mailing list has replied to me that it's impossible to run DNN with their module.

I'm doing some tests just in case...

I've found another solution: using Abyss Web Server.

But I need now to correct the dynamic links generated by DNN.

DNN is locally located at http://192.168.0.1:8000/dnn. So I'm using the ProxyPass and ProxyPassReverse function to add an access from http://www.mydomain.com/dnn.

The home page works fine but many other links are created with the original links (http://192.168.0.1:8000/dnn) rather than the public link (http://www.mydomain.com/dnn).

Can you help me to find how to correct this ?

Many thanks
