I had a successful installation 4.1.1. However, I did never log into the site. I then proceeded to upgrade the site to ver 4.05.05. The initial results were successful, however, after redirecting to the site I am getting the following error. On this error page, I click the link "Return to Site" and I get a clean access to the site without errors. However, when I click on register or login link off the home page, I receive the error below. Any clues?

From time to time as I refresh the home page I get the same error in the "Welcome to DotNetNuke" frame.

A critical error has occurred.

This is due to a file permissions error.  I would ensure that the ASP.NET process has full permissions to your DNN directory.  (The ASPNET account or NETWORK Service in Win 2K3 and Vista)
