I have just upgraded my DNN installation to the latest version and have the following error:

Could Not Load Skin: /Portals/_default/Skins/ClassCampers/ClassHome.ascx Error: D:\WebRoot\Domains\classcampers.com\wwwroot\admin\Security\Signin.ascx.vb(375): error BC30002: Type 'DotNetNuke.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationController' is not defined.

this looks like an upgrade error - has there been issues in the upgrade log?

Sorry

Where is the upgrade log

But i have to say that one of the few parts of the core code that i changed to look a little better was the signin.ascx

dont know if that makes any difference

Cheers

What version were you upgrading from? My guess is that you went from 4.5.5 to 4.6.2 and used the Upgrade package.

Try using the install package instead.

I went from 4.5.3 to 4.6.2

What do you mean use the install package instead.  The files for the upgrade where unzipped locally and then ftp to my web host.  Do I have to do this again with the whole install package - what will that do to my site.

Thanks for your help
