Hi,

We are using DNN 4.0.3 version for our portal in production. We recently got complaints from client saying that Register link is not working in Firefox 2.0.0.8. This works fine in IE 6.0 but when we click Register link in Firefox nothing happens.

On checking the error console, there is an error message stating "Control has no properties" and it points to function ValidatorGetValue(id) line number 104.

It says " if (typeof(control.value)=="String"){ ..The error is in this line.

Can anyone help us resolving this error??

Could you post a url to review?   Trying this on a site like dotnetnuke.com seems to work.

Sorry for the delayed reply...Interestingly, I didnt get any email on ur reply..

Anyways..You can try the https://www.ocean.slb.com/Home/RegisterPage/tabid/117/Default.aspx url. Its still not working.

Is their a compatibilty issue with DNN and Firefox??

The problem lies in the validator control for your CAPTCHA.  Try disabling the validator for the captcha to verfiy this is the only problem.

By the way, how are you getting this captcha for terms, a custom module or is it something you got to work with the custimization of the user registration?
