I should have thought twice and I never would have done it... but I was messing around with my new DNN install to get a feel for things and I added the Login Module to the front page in one of the panes.

So, now I need to remove it... but how?  When I login it disappears... when I log out I dont have the rights to remove it.

'Doh!

This is one of the few instances where I find the "Design" mode useful. It will show you just the headers of all modules installed on your page, even though they should not be visible to authenticated (logged in) users.

So, switch to Edit mode, then click the Design icon (5th icon from the left in your Control Panel), and the title of your Account Login module should appear and you can now remove the module.
