Sorry, they are gone in Firefox (I forgot to test in IE)

It seems you have changed default.css too, this is not a good thing to do.

If you upgrade DNN it will overwrite the default.css file and this will cause your skin to fall apart.

I would first move everyting you added to default.css to skin.css and restore the standard default.css file

Since I never use this menu I contacted somebody who does.

He told me the remaining white borders are the background-color, of the containing element

Setting the borders to none vs solid, should help I guess

Thanks for the reply. I have not had a chance to try the suggestion out yet. I got sidetracked with a database I am writing for the site atm.

I will have a look at this at the weekend and let you know if it solved the problem
