hi all

I was working in database and when I  moving this database to another server I got this erroe message

the stored procedure 'dbo.GetPortalAliasByID' does not exist.

then I noteced that my previous database (all Tables) are in this format dbo.TableName

and in my new database my tables are in this format EXP0.TableName.

and because am working in a company and I don''t have a full control on this new database, I went to my project and replaced all dbo with EXP0.

then i runed my project and in this time I got different error which is:

Invalid object name 'dbo.PortalAlias'

I need ur help in this issue.

thanks.

It sounds like the PortalAlias table is missing.

FYI - In the future, you probably should have used a back-up to "move" your database.

Well, you aren't giving anyone here a whole lot to work with.  And the table does not exist.  Think of the object name as an address.  'dbo.PortalAlias' is one street, and 'EXP0.PortalAlias' is a completely different one on the other side of town.  'EXP0.PortalAlias' exists now, but the error is correct...  'dbo.PortalAlias' is not an object in the database any longer.

There is obviously still a reference in your project somewhere to "dbo", and not "EXP0".  With DNN being the size that it is, you either need to trace down the remaining references to the DBO and give us a better idea of where the request is being made, or request a database change to restore the DBO schema to the database objects (HIGHLY recommended).
