I don't know if this is possible but I would like to take an application I currently have place it under the dnn install and use the iframe tag to pull the application up.  I know this part is possible.  One of the features I need to to only allow a specific set of users the ability to view this.  It will have sensitive information that only specific roles should have access to.

I am imbeding this information in a forum module (specifically a post) I purchased until the site can be converted into a module.  Is there a way to limit the access to a directory based on roles?

yes, using secure folders in file system. But if your data is stored in an application and not in downloadable files, this will not be of any help, in this case you need to add a method to pass the necessary credentials to the application, e.g. based on hashed data, that is compared to another passed parameter. this will, however, require some programming.

I was hoping there would be something I could do using forms authentication.  I am currently using file fold level security so I guess I will have to wait until the modules are done in order to provide seemless security.

Thanks for the input!
