I tried upgrading to 4.6.2.  Unfortunately, with the upgrade package, and failed.  I started to proceed with the install package on a local machine.  I then attempted to update the hosted site using the install package files by pointing the web.config to the hosted DB.  It went through the upgrade process and displayed that the upgrade was successful.  However, the site does not work from either hosted location nor my local install when pointed to the hosted DB.  When I checked the version table on the hosted DB, it still says 4.5.1.  No matter how many times I run the http://domain/install/install.aspx?mode=upgrade, it always says the upgrade is complete.  However nothing ever changes on the DB.  The site is still down.

Can anyone out there please help?

thanks

Thanks Sebastian,

Unfortunately, I looked everywhere, but cannot find the log file.  Can you point me to it?

I took the new release.config, and made it the new web.config.  I changed the DB connection string, turned off customErrors, changed DB owner.  Those are the only three items I change for every version upgrade.

Look in the Host / Host Settings, bottom of the page for "View Upgrade Log For Version:" and check the different version levels.

Hi Achooyeah,

I can't even bring up the site, so I can't access any pages from the site.  Is there anywhere else I can look?  Maybe through sql calls to any specific tables?

thanks
