dear all,

sorry bothering you. After upgrading from DNN 4.4.1 to 4.5.5. my dnn can not connect to any smtp server at all

the system says:

Is there any help. My outlook express on the same machine can send emails through any smtp server I have tested!

What the f..k is the problem

please check the SMTP settings in Host Settings, the current might have been lost during upgrade.

That is what I did. The message of the event viewer is a result of testing the smtp settings at the host menu. Every smtp connection results in an error message, thus the outlook express running on the same machine is connecting without any troubles.

Check the SMTP logs and see if a connection was even attempted.
