Hi all, I'm new with DNN... I was try to build a toy DNN site on my pc.

After a clean install (all seemed to be fine) i can see correctly the home of the built site, but when i try to login as admin by following the link:

http://10.0.0.2:8181/Test/Home/tabid/36/ctl/Register/Default.aspx?returnurl=%2fTest%2fDefault.aspx

i get a 404 http error on my browser...

I think that something is wrong with the url rewriting function on IIS & asp.net framework, and by searching i've found somewhere a post that says to turn off  the feature to validate request paths... but i reallly dont know how i can do it.

can someone help-me?

note that I've built the site with the source DNN package on IIS 6  with MS SQL server lite... on a Win XP x64, together with a Apache Server (for WAMP solutions).

thanks

/daniel

I'm (quiet) sure that is a damn rewrite-url trouble since I tryed to get the following link:

http://10.0.0.2:8181/Test/Default.aspx?TabId=36&ctl=login

IT WORKS!

it would be funny now to ask at each user to manually traslate each url... ... but i cant!

please help me!
