Hi, how can I change the default fields for user registering. I would like to have more than just the First name, last name, user name, password default page. I have seen websites that show several other fields for this first user registration. I can tell DotNetNuke that fulfilling some other fields is mandatory. Then, when user logs in after verified registation, DNN will show the registration form with all the configured fields. But I would like users to fulfill that the first time they regiter into the website. Thanks.

Marcos,

you can customize the user profile and make it required for registration in "user settings".

Sebastian, thanks. What I did was:

  • Went to user accounts tab
  • Went to "User configuration"
  • Then I selected "Require a valid profile for registration".

It works as I wanted now. This last option was unchecked. The option that was checked was the one to require a valid profile for login.
