I installed DotNetNuke_04.05.05_StarterKit.vsi. In VS2005 I created New Website based on DotNetNuke Web Application Framework template (Location: File System) in c:\DNN_File\. I launched DNN (Ctrl+F5), played for few hours. Next day I open it and observe 99 errors: Error 1 The files '/DNN_File/App_Code/ModuleName/DataProvider.cs' and '/DNN_File/App_Code/AssemblyInfo.vb' use a different language, which is not allowed since they need to be compiled together. / Error 5 Type 'HttpServerUtility' is not defined. c:\DNN_File\App_Code\Global.asax.vb 63 27 c:\DNN_File\ Error 6 Type 'HttpRequest' is not defined. c:\DNN_File\App_Code\Global.asax.vb 64 28 c:\DNN_File\ Error 7 Type 'HttpResponse' is not defined. c:\DNN_File\App_Code\Global.asax.vb 65 29 c:\DNN_File\ Is it a bug? And what is the cause and remedy to it? Guennadi Vanine (Геннадий Ванин) -------------- MS Windows XP Pro SP2 MS SQL Server 2005 Express (having also Developer Ed) SP2 VS2005 Team Ed. You created your first  module "module",and placed some buisiness logic inside the app_code folder "module",.

I think you missed to add this folder also to the codesubdirectory section iside web.config.
