Can I use the 4.7 upgrade to upgrade my 4.5.5 install or do I need to do the 4.6 upgrade then the 4.7?

Thanks!

You should run the 4.7 install. Make sure you back up first! Also, if this is for production, you might want to wait and see how 4.7 does in a test environment first.

Just to clarify, You should run the 4.7 upgrade package.

We have had better success running the install package if you are upgrading minor versions (i.e. 4.5.5 to 4.7.0). This will ensure you get all of the changes. If we upgrade a maintenance release (i.e. 4.7.0 to 4.7.1), we may use the upgrade package, but I usually still use the install.

Hi John,

What would be missing from an upgrade package? And is the procedure for upgrading otherwise the same?

Rob
