We have been using the gallery for years now, and recently added an album that we turned around and deleted.  During the delete it timed out.  Well now we cannot see any of our albums.  Does anyone know what we need to do to correct this?

Here's the error we get in the log.

Any help or being directed to someone that can help would be great.  Thanks..  Note I was in as host when I get this error.  But no one gets the galleries right now.

What Gallery Version you are using?  What did you do before this error occoured?  Some Module install or updates?  Some permission changes?

Thanks

Matthias

We have gallery version 3.01.12.  We didn't do an thing before it happened, no installs or updates, no changes to permissions, etc.  This site has been stable for years now.  May have been something on one of the servers.

We had them restore it to a day back and it's working fine now.  Odd enough.

We are leaning towards upgrading to DNN4.8 and reinstall a newer gallery and go from there.  Do you think that would be the more stable or reliable choice?

Thanks for any help.

First version 03.01.12 is still a public beta version and not for production environments.  Only you can try is to disable the friendly URLs, if you have this enabled.   If this will not help check your local permissions of the folder.

We come nearly to the first offical release in .NET 2.0 .  Please have still a little more patience.

Matthias,

I fully understand the issues surrounding release dates, as well as volunteer schedules workloads and such.  However, can you provide some idea of the projected release schedule for the Gallery Module ... many of us have been very patient.

Thanks for all of the hard work

Hans

Regards
Hans
