From reading Jon Henning's blog and forum posts (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryID/1511/Default.aspx), it seems SolPartMenu will be phased out and that the DNNMenu [NAV] will be the new menu to use. Is this right?

My 2nd question is, if so, is there any good documentation out there on this new menu? How to skin around it, etc.?

Yes Solpart will be phased out.

You can download the documentation from the Webcontrols project page.

It's the document called: DotNetNuke Navigation Controls Prerelease Version

Thank you very much! I'll take a look.

I just downloaded and read through it. It seems the document is a more of "this is how things work behind the scenes" or "here are the new features". I'm looking for basic "how to use/implement the new NAV menu". Besides this, is there anything else available?

Thank you!

Your right, it's more for programmers although all the properties are described.

I haven't seen much other documentation.

All the links I found are here but I guess you already tried that.
