I have a localhost installation of 4.3.5 on xp pro.  I tried upgrading to 4.6.2, unzipping the upgrade package, copying from the old web.config etc.  When I browsed to the site the install page set SUCCESS, but when I clicked the "click here to access your site" I get the error messages:

I am at a loss to debug this.  I restored everything, upgraded to 4.7.0 and got exactly the same!!  Can anyone please advise?  Thanks!

Is this something new as a requirement???  (I have many sites that have a ; at the end of the connection string)

What could be wrong with the 4.3.5 usercontroller that 4.7.0 falls flat on its face?
