Hi
I wasn't able to find a post on this but if there is, kindly direct me there. I figure lots of people out there must have had this issue...

I am running DNN 4.6 on IE7 and when editing text I click on the image icon. The image properties popup appears. I click the browse server button and the image directory window opens, but in a new tab behind the image properties pop up :(  The only way to tab over to the directory is to close the Image Properties popup window but then you can't get your selected image from the directory into the img prop win b/c I closed it to get here. How are others with IE7 working around this problem? There must be an easy answer that I am not seeing.

Thanks
Mike

Hi
Sorry for the extra post but I thought I might clarify what I was asking. I would like to keep the tabs turned on in my browser as I have tried and know image browsing works with tabs turned off in IE7. I guess I was posting because I didn't see a keyboard short cut for opening a link in a new browser window instead of an additional tab in the currnet browser. So anyway, I guess I was looking for a keyboard shortcut or a setting somewhere to control this. Let me know if you have any ideas.
Thanks
Mike

IE7 works by opening window popups always in a new window (without disabling tabs). There is another configuration that makes your browser to open popups in a new tab instead of a new window. This configuration is not the default one.

FCKeditor does not work with this configuration enable (or at least nobody found how to do that)

Disabling this configuration does not mean that tabs are disabled

B.T.W. The option can be changed at:

Tools - Internet Options - General - Tabs - settings

The section is named: When a popup is encountered

Hope it helps

Oh! Ok. Awesome. I completely missed that setting when I was turning the tabs on and off. Works like a charm now. Thanks!
