Hi,

Thanks for all the advice...

I have now purchased PageBlaster and also the PB SEO plug in.  Just for anyone else wondering whether to purchase - Page Blaster has dramatically increased the speed of my website.

XHTML Strict - I added all the saved XHTML strict rules but my site still has 300-odd errors when I checked it!  I would like to persue this though....I too get all the align=absmiddle errors and a LOT of 'ID' errors.  I would be interested if anyone has any rules for getting over these...

I also use Aggregator on my site and this seems to have a real issue with page blaster.  I had to remove a few of the saved XHTML rules to get it working properly again.

Also had a little trouble with catalook and the cart.  I was hoping to use PB to stop the annoying 'unsecure/secure content' error that you get with a SSL.  However, it would seem that you cannot use PB on the cart (not quite sure why) and it is excluded in the PB config file.  So, I had to give up there... I will post back if i have any success.

As for the SEO plugin - I think I may be in slightly over my head....I cannot seen to get this working, although I'm confident that it is installed correctly.  I have cleared cache, restarted and all sorts but with no success....Has anyone managed to get this working (in newbie terms please!) ;o)

So, in summary Page Blaster is fantastic for speed, friendly URLs, filtering, etc etc....and I'm sure it will do much more just as soon as I get to grips with it!

Many thanks,

Anna

Hi everyone,

I apologize for missing these questions earlier. It just seems harder to keep up with these forums these days.

Anna, I think we got your problems with the Cart taken care of.  It turned out to be Google analytics tracking code that was accessing  non-secure content if I remember correctly.

Feel free to ask questions over in my support forums.  I have a thread dedicated to using PageBlaster for XHTML compliance over there.

DotNetNuke Modules from Snapsis.com

Hello everyone,

I'm not a programmer at all and i use DNN to build my website and trying to make advertise money out of it but life (and GOOGLE) is not cool with me :(...
My website is www.tunersdream.com and i recently bought a SEO module (with respect i will not mention for now) but my www.alexa.com ranking decided to drop from 1000000 to over 2200000 within one month or so!  I read that double content may be one problem...

Also, it made a critical problem with my article module (New article from Ventrian - great module by the way), because all url address were changed for something worse than before. By reading recent post, i triend some pages on http://validator.w3.org and guess the result !  I almost started crying :(
Is that normal that SEO module helps with the tabs but destroy all url articles modules ?

Now PLEASE, i'm willing to pay for help but i need serious people (or modules) that could have my website url friendly!
Also, how come DNN CORE TEAM doesn't take initiative to help SEO / url rewriting if it's so important?

Some friends using PHP / PHP CMS are just trying to have me change technology but i invested so much in different modules, i really don't want... But i have to realise one thing, DNN for now is not helping me compare to what i have seen with PHP, why is that ?????

Thank you in advance !!!!
