Mini Emergency!        Can anyone help me with this problem? 

We had an emergency rebuild of one our servers today with Windows 2003 on it..  A drive went bad and we had to mannually rebuild the RAID and patch the OS.  Short story is that we got the server back up with all data but we keep getting this error on several of the sites.

About 1/2 of the sites came back up.  the other half are all getting this error:

Error Details

File        

Error      Unable to generate a temporary class (result=1). error CS2001: Source file 'C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\vyomgsr2.0.cs' could not be found error CS2008: No inputs specified

 

Does anyone have any ideas?

 

Basically everything I've read says you have to grant Full Control permissions to the "Network Service" account for both c:\windows\temp and c:\windows\microsoft.net

 

I've done this multiple times. Some after stopping and then restarting IIS. I've tried rebooting after my changes.

 

But none of this has worked.

this sounds like an issue of IIS, not DNN specifc. did you try to re-register ASP.Net?

You might need to delete the temorary files, then restart the server!

Thank you both for your input.  We corrected the problem.  It was a permissions issue with the C:\Windows\Temp folder.
