Hi guys,

I would like to know the possibility of changing LOGO token linking behaviour.

Currently if you include a LOGO token in your skin, your logo links to [yourportalalias]/default.aspx. e.g www.dotnetnuke.com/default.aspx

Is it possible to cut /default.aspx part from end?

So LOGO token links to [yourportalalias]. e.g www.dotnetnuke.com

I am asking it because it may create duplicate homepages if you are not using English locale.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

Hi Sebastian, glad to see you again.

Sure. Lets call our default page is Home page

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Home.aspx and http://www.dotnetnuke.com/default.aspx points same location.

So two different urls for being used for same page.

I think it would perfect to bring them all to just one page.

Either: The page selected by Admin via Admin > Site Settings > Advanced Settings > Home Page (for default installation its Home, but you can change it or rename it) or just name of domain.

I hope i could tell the problem here :)

Regards.

Ismet,

I understand, but as far as I know, the default document (default.aspx) is not regarded as a separate page, but for sure our http experts will be able to give better advice.
