I created a DNN Database using SQLExpress on my local machine. I need to now transfer my site and Database to live. I went through DNN creative videos and attached the DNN Database on SQL Express Server. Under Databases I now have both: C:\DOTNETNUKE\APP_DATA\DATABASE.MDF, and DotNetNuke.

The problem is when I expand Tables under C:\DOTNETNUKE\APP_DATA\DATABASE.MDF, it does not display any tables, there is only System Tables Folder

But under DotNetNuke I can see the System Tables Folder and all the tables.

Where did I go wrong????????

Please reply...

if you created database in SQLServer using management studio, it uses a different location, see files section in database properties.

The attached DB "C:\DOTNETNUKE\APP_DATA\DATABASE.MDF" files section points to C:\DotNetNuke\App_Data.

The Origional Database that I created "DotNetNuke" files section points to C:\Program Files\Ms SQL Server\MSSQL.3\MSSQL\DATA

My concern is when I check the tables under the attached DB, the tables are not there. On the origional Database, all the tables are there.

Why is it that i can not see the tables under the attached DB? Please reply
