Actually it looks like the code is far different in 4.8 than 4.7.

I'm too poor for anything other than the community version

I *think* this issue has been fixed with 4.8.1 just looking at a bug tracker blog

Hi ,

I am having the issue, I am using DNN4.8.4 version. Actually the login and register works on my local copy but when I hosted the site starts my problem.

Is there any thing I need to do.

I am having this issue on 5.00.01 at Newtonlake.com The register link on the User Log In module simply reloads the page when you click it. It is a different URL than the Register Icon.

From the User Log In module the link is:  Webform_DoPostBackWithOptions(new Webform_PostBackOptions("dnn$ctr$Login$cmdRegister", "", true, "", "", false, true))

From the Register Icon, the link is:  __doPostBack('dnn$dnnUSER$cmdRegister','')

Since the 5.0 release file structure is different than the 4.X release, any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated. I would love to get it corrected before I get a support ticket from my client.

Regards,
Ed Janx

I'm having this issue with version 04.09.04. or an issue something like it.

whenever someone clicks on "register" it takes you to the user profile page.

My site went live this morning, it worked this morning. over 170 failed registration attempts today, must be all that advertising I did (sob).

please, someone tell me there is a fix.

Note: OpenID log-in with on-the-fly registration works.
