New featrue in 4.7.0 is the option to export page templates.

When I tried to do this to the _templates folder it said:

The Page Template Has Been Created to C:\dnn470\Portals\0\Templates/test.page.template

Looks like the / 's and \ 's get mixed up somewhere...

Page templates have been going wrong for me too.

I created a page template containing all my standard modules, i.e. google analytics, login module, users online module etc.  But when I create a page using that template, I end up with a page containing about 16 google analytics modules, 16 login modules and 16 users online modules.  Anyone know why?

This is propably an error unique to my installation since I haven't spotted another thread about this in the forum.

Is anyone else experiencing this? does anyone know why it would do this?  Should someone mention this as a bug?

Julian,

please check out the template file, if it has each module 16 times included orelse the import fails and repeats addition of each module to the page several times.

Hi

This may be a stupid question, but how would i go about checking the template file?  Can I view it in Visual Studio?
