We upgraded to 4.7 last night without too much trouble. I have many child portals and have discovered several issues: 1) the links and pages all are fine in view mode, but in edit mode and attempting to edit a module, instead of displaying the edit menu it displays a blank page. 2) with some portals I can't get into the file manager, or any of the Admin or Host menus, they all return a blank page with only the Admin and Host tabs, but the menus don't work

Any ideas?

I'm not sure why, but after digging through the error message, and the code, I discovered that a new config file has materialized - DotNetNuke.config. We went from 4.5.1 to 4.7.0. The new config file was missing a few settings - I added them, and now things seeem to be OK. The missing settings, for future reference, are:

 <skinningdefaults>
  <skininfo folder="/DNN-Blue/" default="Horizontal Menu - Fixed Width.ascx" admindefault="Horizontal Menu - Fixed Width.ascx" />
  <containerinfo folder="/DNN-Blue/" default="Image Header - Color Background.ascx" admindefault="Image Header - Color Background.ascx" />
 </skinningdefaults>

I don't know why they weren't there, but now that they are, things seem better.
