Call me crazy but if I read this rule correctly this says:

1) Find any references to ANYTHING.mysite.com/youthSOMETHING/Default.aspx

2) Forward to TabId 69.

<RewriterRule>
      <LookFor>.*mysite.com/youth(.*)/Default.aspx</LookFor>
      <SendTo>~/Default.aspx?TabId=69</SendTo>
  </RewriterRule>

I believe that your LookFor should be formatted more like

.*mysite.com/youth(.*)/*

and/or

.*mysite.com/youth(.*)

These would cover any cases of simply vanity reference such as http://www.mysite.com/youth

and any page references such as http://www.mysite.com/youth/default.aspx (or even youth.aspx if they made that mistake).

Sebastian,

I understand that I can create a portal alias of  "www.mysite.com/services" and this will link to my portal's home page.  However, if I want "www.mysite.com/services" to go to another page other than my home page can I do this or does the friendly URL have to be "www.mysite.com/services.aspx"?  I am asking this for sites that are not on dnn 4.7 yet.

Also, I searched blogs by both Stefan's (I am not sure which one you were referring to) and did not come up with a blog entry on friendly urls.  Could you provide a link to the blog listing you referred to?

Thank you
