I have a bunch of users moving over from a phpbb-based forum system.  Of course they want everything to work exactly like their old system...  I've answered most of their questions, but a couple of them I don't have an answer for:

1.  Is there a way to set the "basic text box" as the default editor per-user?  I have some that prefer it for some strange reason or another.

2.  How you "quote" something in the forums in a new thread (not pressing the quote button)?  Many users want to copy/paste information from another source, and want to list it as a "quote", is there a way to do this easily (without resorting to tables)?

To quote something you can use the
and
tags (NOTE I added a a space so it would display!

Ahh, that is pretty cool...  Are there any other undocumented features like this?  Or maybe some documentation that I can point people to?

Why are these case-sensative?

They are case sensitive by design. As for the basic/rich text options this is stored via cookie and integrated with the core HTML provider. Unfortunately, I did something that 'broke' this in the forum. It will be corrected shortly.
