I realise dates will be set to the current date after i edit and update my entry. And Post dates don't seem editable: after i edit it it'll just go back to the current date. Bug?

Hi Jin Hong,

This bug also annoyed me and I've recently fixed it. Take a look at http://samvanbrussel.homeip.net/Default.aspx?tabid=54&EntryID=10 for the solution.

Sam.

Sam, I was glad to see you had a fix for this. Then disappointed to see your comment that it is not completely fixed. What is the problem now? Is your fix still worth doing? I don't understand stored procedure -- is this something in an ascx file in the Blog directory or is it something else all together? Thanks, Ken

Dear Ken,

It is impossible to completely fix the issues without altering the sourcecode. Altering the stored procedure, which seemed faulty to me, was the only option for a quick fix without programming.

I'm looking forward to a new version of the Blog module, where hopefully all of the nasty bugs will be fixed.

You can always keep up at http://www.linqed.be/Default.aspx?tabid=54&EntryID=10

Sam.
