My site is hosted my datapacket.net. Using their appliaction package i have installed DNN. But after the installation it is asking for the username and password(authentication) . How do i know the administrator username and password?? Is there any by default?? Please help me out

try "host", password "dnnhost"

It if was an auto install, in the process of installing the program should have asked you to create a Host and Administrator UN and PW with an email address for each. When created you then have to use that to get in. If you did not write it down and can't guess for the email to send it to you, you are kinda screwed. Best to uninstall and do it again and watch for those things.

I don't know how datapacket.net works in the install but often sites will have a place to show you what you put in. GoDaddy, for all it's downsides, will show that. Can come in handy.

Also "admin", "dnnadmin" should do it in case you do not have host permissions.
