Hello Everyone,

I have made a manual install with the latest version install package of DNN. After the installation was finished and I clicked to go to the first page of the portal, I get the following instead of the actual page:

In internet explorer:

  GIF89a !,  k.);

In Firefox:

 GIF89a !,  k.);

Anybody has any idea was is going wrong? I searched the forums but I couldn't find anything, and I am new to DNN.

Thanks in advance,

mariosnic

this looks like a settings error in IIS, make sure, ASPX pages are properly handled by ASP.Net version 2.0

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for the tip. The problem is though that DNN is hosted on Godaddy, and those settings are standard. Anything else I should be looking into?

thanks again for your fedback
