We just upgraded to DNN 4.5.5 and changed hosts to Server Intellect. On some pages now, when I try to update a text module, it either does nothing when I click Update (except the yellow triangle with exclamation point appears in status bar with the word "Done"... ??). OR... it updates, but the text in the module is randomly rearranged on the page (a paragraph moved down, a heading at the bottom, one line with text size changed, etc.).

PLEASE HELP! This is driving us nuts and making our website look really bad.

there has been no modification of content from the Text/HTML module during the upgrade. Are you using CSS positioning of blocks inside the module?

I don't know what that means. I'm not doing anything differently from before. This problem coincides with moving to a new host and upgrading from DNN 3 to DNN 4.5.5. These both happened back-to-back.

  • are you using a different skin/container now?
  • are you abserving the issue while editing / after editing / with onmodified text?

1) No.

2) I can't say I've tried it with unmodified text. It happens when I finish editing and click Update. Then I look at the page and it's scrambled.

Also... sometimes (don't know if this is a related issue) I'll make a change (even a very minor one) and click Update, and nothing happens at all (except a yellow triangle symbol with exclamation mark inside shows up in the bar at the bottom). Then the only thing I can do is leave the page. Won't let me do anything else.
