Need help!

I have a single DNN installation hosted by a 3rd party provider.  I have 2 clients sites hosted on this installation, as of 11/24/2007 they were both working properly.  Suddenly today they quit responding.  IE never replies with anything, but the site log fills up with hundreds of entries, Firfox replies with "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete"

I am able to navigate to to any directory on this site using the domain alias and successfully render an image for instance.  I am also able to successfully get a response from KeepAlive.aspx using any of the aliases and from sitemap.aspx and errorpage.aspx. 

It looks like default.aspx goes into a loop or wants to redirect.

Server 2003

SQL Server 2005

DNN 4.5.5

Anybody know what happened and how to fix?  Thank you in advance.

1) What aliases are in your alias table?

2) What URL are you trying to access the site with?

All of the sites suddenly started working again this morning.  I am working wth the hosting provider to see if there was anything on their end that could have caused this. 

The DNN application was working fine if I got a legimate response from sitemap.aspx, why would default.aspx put over 100,000 entries in the sitelog table on sql?

What entries were made in the site log?  Where they all the same message or different?
