What the heck do I do with this error?  I don't have the knowledge to even start attacking this one...

remove the trailing ";" from the database connections trings in your web.config file.

I tried taking the trailing semicolons off the logins and it made no difference. 

We are wondering if there is a caching error as sometimes it comes back quickly and sometimes it takes noticeably longer to fail.  We've installed the SQL management console to confirm SQL server logins and that is set up properly.

Another interesting fact is that every once in a while, when we try to access it, we get the below message, then when we 'refresh' we go back to the initial problem.

We have spent the last entire day trying to get this to work.
